Marco Tardelli remata cruzado ao poste direito da baliza de Schumacher e faz o segundo golo da Italia na final do Campeonato do Mundo de 1982. De imediato corre de braços abertos e punhos fechados, abanando a cabeça no signo da negação. As lágrimas caem-lhe do rosto. Tardelli marca um golão. O público vibra, o presidente italiano, Sandro Pertini, festeja na tribuna de honra. Toda a gente ri e celebra. Tardelli chora. Os colegas abraçam-no. As imagens são impressionantes. E gravam-se para sempre na retina dos amantes do futebol total. A Italia, ao minuto sessenta e nove, tem a final praticamente ganha. O momento é belíssimo. Único.
